Legends Seniors (Margate) is a welcoming Monday space for young people to come together, feel supported, and enjoy time in a safe and inclusive environment. The project is designed to help participants build confidence, form positive friendships, and take part in engaging activities that make a real difference to their wellbeing.
Each session offers a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where young people can connect with others, try new things, and develop a stronger sense of belonging. Through enjoyable group activities and shared experiences, participants are encouraged to express themselves, feel heard, and grow in confidence at their own pace.
Building life skills is a key part of the project, with opportunities to develop communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and independence. These essential skills are supported in a way that feels natural and engaging, helping young people prepare for everyday challenges and future opportunities.
The project also places importance on positive relationships and trusted adult support. By providing consistent structure and a caring environment, Legends Seniors helps young people feel secure, respected, and able to take part fully in the session.
Whether attending to meet friends, enjoy activities, or simply have a safe place to spend part of the week, young people are encouraged to be themselves and get involved in a way that suits them. Every Monday session aims to create a positive experience that supports personal growth, wellbeing, and connection.
